I've heard they try to butter you up to placate your change in attitude towards their service.

it depends on why you are upset with there service..it always helps to ask to speak with a supervisor..or if you were wronged, tell them you want some sort of compensation..just make sure you really let them know how disappointed you are and how much of an inconvenience you are having..
