  1. A man who has the discipline of working and all that it entails, including a desire for perfection in execution, patience to see a job through to the end, tolerance for when a project does not go well, ingenuity for problem solving, creative thought to visualize a project...all of these attributes add to the capabilities of a man and make him a more perfect being.

  2. he says that hardwork only will result in perfection

  3. Basically, I believe he is saying that the man learns a good work ethic, learning punctuality, a sense of responsibility, of capability, and of accountability for his actions.( or inaction)  He can develop a skill, or trade which can be useful in other aspects of life. Something to be proud of, and have a sense of achievement. I don't believe he is talking about literal perfection. Sort of along the lines of the whole "practice makes perfect" idea. We're not to believe that we can attain perfection through repetition, merely a developed skill or talent.
