Yes, Audrey Hepburn was very involved with UNICEF for many years  beginning in the 1950's.  It stands for The United Nations International Children's Economic Fund.   When her own country was liberated, United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration trucks followed.  Hepburn said in an interview she ate an entire can of condensed milk and then got sick from one of her first relief meals because she put too much sugar in her oatmeal. This experience is what led her to become involved in UNICEF later in life.

    UNICEF is present in 190 countries and territories around the world.

    UNICEF is currently focused on five primary priorities: Child Survival and Development, Basic Education and Gender Equality (including girls' education), Child protection from violence, exploitation, and abuse, HIV/AIDS and children, and Policy advocacy and partnerships for children’s rights. Related areas of UNICEF action include early childhood development, adolescence development and participation, life skills based education and child rights all over the world.
