What does URL mean and where can I find my computer's URL address?

URL = Universal Resource Locator. An Internet World Wide Web Address.

so the URL for Yahoo uk would be www.yahoo.co.uk

Your computer won't have its own URL, but will prob have its own IP address:- each computer that is connected to the Internet has a clearly identifiable, numeric address, the IP address, comprising four sequences of digits.

There are lots of sites that will tell you your IP address. My personal favourite is www.moanmyip.com

URL is an abbreviation of Uniform Resource Locator, the global address of resources on the Internet.

The first part of the address indicates what protocol to use, ex: http, and the second part specifies the domain name, ex: google.com where the resource is located.
