Politico.com says it says 6 things about him. He has said Obama is "dangerously inexperienced." The Dems. have a total of 10 more years national and foreign policy experience than the Rep. ticket. Do you agree (1) desperate (2)wllling to gamble (3)worried about implications of his age (72) (4) worried about conservative base (5)he is still McCain 6)spoke to her Sun 4 first time. Doesn't know her.

She has, like the Dem. ticket, positive and negatives.

  1. He is willing to stab us in the back repeatedly and appease them dems with his liberal choices.

    I'll vote BOB BARR, thanks.

  2. That, like many, he got tired of hearing Obama promise change without delivering it.

  3. i think the vp pick shows good judgement on mccain.

  4. Smart and think out of the box - opposite of same same of Obama gang.

  5. That he is much more wiser than Obama

  6. That he's a lot smarter than I thought.

  7. He is desperate for the conservative base vote that he can not get by himself.  It also show that he has finally gotten someone in his campaign that knows what he is doing and knows how to win elections!

  8. I think he just chose her because he thought it would help him get women votes, which I think is insulting and disrespectful towards women to think that we would give up our values just and vote just to have a woman in office. Also, it shows poor judgement because she is inexperienced and he doesn't really know her. If McCain were to die we would be in real trouble with her being president.

  9. that he is perhaps the most pandering politician of ALL TIME!  if he thinks i'm going to vote with my ovaries, he's out of his mind. i pick my presidents from the bellybutton up!

  10. That he is smart. People keep trying to say she under experienced because she's in her first term as governor. Well, lets not forget she was a mayor for 8 years and 2 years as a governor is not the same as 2 years as a senator. She has executive experience. Not to mention she has done quite a lot in that time frame. Frankly, I'm impressed with her.

  11. It says "I'm old, desperate, and horny".

  12. people around  my age are going to say ... he was smart... people under lets say 30 are going to say its stupid and or it was a bad choice or thanks etc... but the people under 30 truly dont know shite ,, yet they think they do... having been around all this stuff since Ike... Im going to say... smart move *G*

    GO MCCAIN/PALIN!!!

  13. he is trying to get a better image, because most voters are leaning towards obama, and with a female running mate, it would give him a slightly better image.

  14. Poor judgment once again. I think it says he just wants to win he doesn't care about the country.

  15. What does his choice say? I agree with your:

    1) his desperation,

    2) willingness to be a high rollers gamble,

    4) he's pandering to the conservative base,

    5) he is still McCain

    6) he barely knows her.

Number 3 I disagree with. If he was worried about his advanced age he would have picked a candidate that could run the country should something happen to him, not one who was picked just to win the election. That was totally irresponsible of him.

  16. I say he made an extremely intelligent choice, sure to swing a lot of votes his way and I'm sure this will be what he needed to win in Nov. The left and democrats are saying horrible things about her but if you look into who she is and what she represents and get past the name calling and put downs I think she'd be a better president than the other two. I don't agree at all with your observation about McCain cause if you've been watching the polls Obama isn't doing all that well.

  17. A sure born loser.

  18. Wise old head. He let his people search a long time and picked someone who really has experience and the morality to fight corruption and corporate power, whether demos or reps. Ted Stevens is what we don't want and Sarah Palin is what we do want.

We want a major Reform Movement in Washington, D.C. Yeh, Sarah "the baracuda" is a great idea.

  19. That he's a desperate man that will do anything to get elected. If McCain's judgment is so bad that he thinks that an inexperienced  nobody redneck governor from a minor hick state is more qualified to be the VP then Joe Lieberman , Mitt Romney or Charlie Crist are, then McCain's judgment is not good enough for him to be president.

  20. so does everyone else with the postives and negatives...whats your point?  bottom line is the democrats have baggage with unwarranted and unwated socialism.  thats a huge ..huge difference.  the vice presidential pick says common sense is a strong element of mccains campaign.

  21. Desperate, but I seriously don't see how McCain would  think Hillary voters would consider for Vice President a woman like Sarah Palin.

She was elected Alaska 's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.

Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.

She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000.

Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.

She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.

She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.

  22. He's desperate.

McCain couldn't picked ANYONE out of his lineup (Mittens, Huckleberry, Lieberman, Pawlenty) that would've been a better candidate, but instead he went with someone who is against women's rights, has zero national and foreign policy experience, and doesn't know a vice-president's job from a hole in the ground.

  23. It says that he's desperate.

  24. It says he wants to win.  He just picked up all of the votes Hillary would have had.  It also says that the democrats were stupid to select the whining scumbag over Hillary.

  25. He wants an open marriage or a little threesome???  Looky here at those legs they never end!!

Frankly I think it says that 4 rounds of chemo have fried his BRAIN.

  26. GO MCCAIN!!!!!

OBAMA SEEMS LIKE A COOL DUDE BUT NOT FOR A PRESIDENT, MAYBE HE SHUD GO INTO ACTING, HE'S LIKE THE NEXT DENZEL....THAT VOICE IS.....AMAZING(WHISPERED).

  27.   it says he will be a good president.but we already know that.

  28. That he's a Maverick that admires other Mavericks.

It's not the 'ol boy network anymore.

    Raising McCain '08
