I know vegetarian means you can't eat meat but what does vegan mean?

  1. vegan means only vegetarian food

Vegans don't eat, use, wear or otherwise consume anything of animal origin whatsoever.  We don't eat meat, slaughter byproducts, dairy, eggs, or honey and we don't wear leather, suede, wool, silk, fur, down, feathers or pearls.  We source cosmetics, toiletries, household cleaners and other products made without animal bits to as great an extent as possible.  We don't support industries that exploit animals for entertainment, such as circuses or rodeos.

    (Shelby, cotton is a plant, it's wool that comes from sheep.)

    ie: Eggs, Cheese etc

    mainly a life on eating wheat and it in many powder forms

  12. As far as I'm aware, vegan means you don't eat meat OR meat products... for example eggs, dairy, and other foods containing products derived from animals.
