W/t/c and other like it? Heard a lot of it when looking at horse for sale ads. Help?

w/t/c means walk/trot/canter. The seller is probably saying the horse has a soild w/t/c

I also like to use w/t/c/g walk/trot/canter/gallop or w/t/c/g/j walk/trot/canter/gallop/jump

w/t/c stands for walk trot canter. you may have also heard W/J/L which stands for walk jog lope. same gaits just different names for western wtc is english

trot is a 2 beat gait

canter is 3 beat gait

Describes the quality of the gaits walk, trot and canter, usually that they are good if they are referring to them. Horse sale ads sometimes are in a different language!

It means walk/trot/canter. Like if in a show there was a w/t/c class, you would do walk, trot and canter. In the sale ads it means that the horse is all good with walking, trotting and cantering.

W/T/C means walk, trot, canter. Theres also O/T/T which means off the track. Theres TB or thoroughbred. thrers QH or quarter horse. Theres a couple more but thats all I could think of. I looked for 3 years for my horse! Good luck on finding one!

Walk/Trot/Canter

I means the horse knows basics of walk, trot, and canter under saddle. He can turn, stop, and change gaits, but does not know dressage movements or jumping.
