My friend's,friend said this earlier, and I was trying to find out what she was talking about. I recently moved to Tokyo about three weeks ago,and I'm still pretty horrible when it comes to the Japanese language,if anyone could please help,I'd surely appreciate it! ^_^

  1. I am really bored today.

  2. The message you quoted is not colloquial but too literary.

If your friend said it verbally, it is very awkward for standard Japanese.

I assume you just needed to help to solve the home work or kind of things.

Saserarete imasu means passive sentence of sasete imasu.

Sasete imasu is polite expression for sasete iru.

    So, Watashi, I

    ha, am

    kyou, today

    totemo, very much

    taikutsu, boredom

saserarete iru, am being forced to

I am bored very much today.

This is not complicated Japanese sentence but easy simple one at all if you study Japanese more than half year seriously.

  3. "Today is really boring."

    "I am really/very bored today."

    In simple terms anyway.
