What does a Gerudo wear? (zelda games)?

Ok, I know what a gerudo looks like, and i know what the clothes look like.. but what are they called? and what is that thing the guards wear over their mouths? please someone help me.

Well since they live in the desert I'm guessing its just a scarf to prevent breathing in any sand in the air, I've played just about every Zelda game and can't think of them ever giving that particular item a name, or even ever drawing attention to it, so I don't think it has a particular name.
