What does a Marine have to be become before he tries to go to sniper school?

I mean like infantry, recon, land navigation?

You must be in the infantry MOS..

You must be a expert rifle shooter in your previous qualification..

You must be able to get a secret clearance or higher and there are other qualifications you need..

When you get to your unit, find out when the sta platoon is having an indoc. do the indoc without giving up, and you will make it. From there you will be a sniper, but theres alot of schools that you gotta go to.
