What does a Mary Kay Facial consist of?

Question

I am going to have a consultation with a Mary Kay saleswomen, which includes a facial. Can anyone tell me if it is the real deal or some cream they slather on your face.

Like the other people responded, she will show you how to apply the products and in what order. They are great. I have really sensitive skin and I have been using them for years. They are the only products that seem to work for me. I just signed up as a consultant. No one asked me to. My aunt is a consultant but she doesnt really advertise. She is not pushy at all. I signed up under her. I was the first one to sign under her and she has been doing it for a couple of years. So that should show that she is not pushy. Anyway, at the facial she will have you clean you skin with a cloth and then put on some 3 in 1 cleanser, exfoliant, and moisturizer in one. She may have you do some eye cream and after that she will match up your foundation to put on last. It is fun! Just relax and enjoy it. You do not have to buy anything. I am going to do them to get practice. I like doing stuff like that. If they want to buy something great and if not, I am not going to push them. I hope you have fun and let me know how it goes. this can be the real deal-just answer her "profile" sheet as honestly as you can;that will help her determine what products will work for your skin's needs.Mary Kay has different products for cleansing,moisturizing,and protecting your skin-even sensitive skin! The products are meant to work together-so you will be in for a treat. Yes she will want to talk to you about the "opportunity" in the MaryKay business, but again-be honest with her and decline that part of it if you are only interested in the product. A good consultant will know when to back off...you should go on the Mary Kay website(www.marykay.com) and browse on it-it will give you a glimpse of what the products are. One of my personal favorites for removing makeup and cleansing at the same time are the facial clothes.....good luck!

It's not a real facial by them, they are going to show you how to apply it and use it so they can sell you the makeup and so you can want to become a mary kay sales woman.  Mary Kay makeup and The rest of their items are nice but they will try to sell you everything.  Mary kay professionals are not allowed to touch the customers, they have to be cosmetologist to touch you, that's why they make you do it yourself.  It's basically a sales call!  If you've never tried their stuff it might be worth it.  It's pretty good.
