Does it show your age or what? Lets say I lied about my age to my boss, and give them my social security number, what information will they find out?

  1. The number itself can give him an idea what part of the country you were in when you registered with SSA, but it won't give him your exact age by itself.  But he might see it on some documents from the Social Security Administration.  If you fudged it - you may want to correct it.

  2. The only thing I can remember about it, is that the last two digits supposedly tell what your local post office was at the time you got it.
