  1. Weak or no spark.

  2. a rich gas mixture, fouled plug or ignition problems.

  3. If you only have one spark plug that is black, either the spark plug is bad or the spark plug cable is bad. It could also be oil leaking around the rings causing the spark plug to foul out. I'd try replacing the spark plug first.

  4. a rich gas mixture or burning oil

  5. You've got a bad spark plug.  These days companies are making titanium spark plugs that have an extremely long life.  I suggest replacing them then checking a few weeks or a month or so after changing them and seeing what they look like.  Gas is a normal smell coming from an engine.

  6. the engine is running rich, getting too much gas need to have more air in the fuel air mixture, could have a bad oxy sensor,

  7. runing to rich

    or is oil

  8. The guys are right, too much gasoline going into your engine!

  9. way too much fuel or not enough spark.

  10. The cylinder is running rich or the plug is not firing because of oil getting past the valve seal or the ring. Your engine may be worn excessively.
