  1. According to http://www.earlham.edu/~sheedjo/blue-rin... "the Blue-ringed octopus is only the size of a golf ball but still carries enough poison to kill 26 humans in minutes." Picture here: http://aqua.gjovaag.com/blogpics/BlueRin...

  2. The blue-ringed octopus is the size of a golf ball, but its venom is powerful enough to kill humans.

There are two species of blue-ringed octopus: the Hapalochlaena lunulata, which is the larger and grows up to 20cm (8 in) across its stretched tentacles. The other, the Hapalochlaena maculosa, is small and more common, weighing a mere 28 grams (1 oz).

An individual blue-ringed octopus tends to use its dermal chromatophore cells to camouflage itself until provoked, at which point it quickly changes color, becoming bright yellow with blue rings or lines.

There is a picture of one at the link below.

  3. You have read my answer to you other blue ring octopus question, so you know some of that. Its general size isn't that big. I would say it  could sit in your palm easily, about....maybe well the mantle is about.....5 cm, and its tentacles usually are 10cm i would guess....i can't really estemate that well.

(when its is born, it is about.........the size of a pea.)
