What does a child care centre CONTACT director do?

Hi. I have applied for a position within a child care centre in Brisbane, Australia and thought it was centre director - but have since found out that it is group leader/contact director.

What is a contact director and what do they do and how do they differ to a centre director?

I can only guess, If you really want to know, contact your nearest TAFE college and ask to speak to the child care teacher and ask questions. That is what I would do. Or ring around and see if you can do volunteer work at one of the centres or arrange a taste day to see if you like it and what it involves
