What does a class in philosophy consist of?

It depends on the philosophy class. If it is intro, you will touch on God, morals, life, knowledge, yourself, etc. Metaphysics is the philosophy of "what is" which means that you will study existence, etc. Aesthetics is the study of beauty. And there are several others. You can expect to learn several theories, be engaged in discussions--sometimes heated, be tested on your knowledge of these theories, possible debates, etc. It is honestly a fun class though.
