  1. Technique and fitness can be trained, but passion and vision come naturally. I think a scout looks for players who give 100% all the time and make useful or penetrating passes. They look for people who help out the team the most i.e. always getting back defensively and not beating a man with dribbling when you can beat a team with passing. If dribbling is the best option though, don't be afraid to go for it because beating a man (without showing off) will get a scout's attention. Good luck with the tryouts and just play your way.

  2. You defitnelly dont want to be a ballhog. If ur under pressure pass it off if u know u can chop the person then chop a few players then pass it off. Try to make plays spectacular not the kinda stuff u do at the park

one time when a scout came i hit the ball with the back of my foot and the ball went into the net i didnt even think i would score but i tried it and scored so wat im sayin is dont be afraid to try of new things.

im still in high school but when i was in middle school scouts from high schools came and watched my team

    Good luck
