What does a four leaf clover really mean?

I just found a four leaf clover...and i'm really excited! So they mean you get good luck? for how long? and what should i do with it?

it's just rare. it won't give you good luck, it was a joke made by some guy.

Each leaflet represents something: First is for hope, second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck. Also if a lady hangs a four-leaf clover on her door, the next man to come in will become her husband.

Save it!  Just like any other "good luck" symbol, it's probably not going to bring you good luck, but why not keep it just in case, lol?  I believe the story began in Ireland (you know, leprechauns, pots of gold at the end of a rainbow, etc.)  Since they aren't very common they're considered "lucky."  For now, you could just press it in a book until you decide what to do with it.  Maybe someday you could have it mounted somehow, or encase it in glass (like in those paper weights).  At any rate, I'd hang on to it, probably by putting it on some wax paper or plastic wrap, then pressing it in a book.  "Good luck!"
