  1. Double Jeopardy is when a person is tried for a crime like OJ and is found Innocent and then evidence that is found after the crime proves the person guilty that person cant be put on trial for the same crime twice.

Grand Jury they over hear the evidence used by the prosecution and determine if the person on trial is guilty or not grand Jury's are usually on the federal Level not the state level.

Due Process is these are thinks the person being tried with have the right to like pleading the fifth.

  2. In the common law, a grand jury is a type of jury which determines whether there is enough evidence for a trial. Grand juries carry out this duty by examining evidence presented to them by a prosecutor and issuing indictments, or by investigating alleged crimes and issuing presentments. A grand jury is traditionally larger and distinguishable from a petit jury, which is used during a trial.

    Federal grand juries

Charges involving "capital or infamous crimes" under federal jurisdiction must be presented to a grand jury, under the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution. This has been interpreted to permit bypass of the grand jury for misdemeanor offenses, which can be charged by prosecutor's information.

    State grand juries

Unlike many other provisions of the Bill of Rights, the Supreme Court has ruled[6] that this requirement was not incorporated to apply to state courts via the Fourteenth Amendment, and states therefore may elect not to use grand juries.

  3. Grand Jury decides if some should go to trial for the crimes they were arrested for.

Due process is when you are arrested you you are treated fairly and afford the same rights as everyone else.
