They should love them equally but I know in a lot of cases the man loves the kids more.  They feel they are more blood to him than the wife.  I guess.

You cannot compare this. Each is loved in a different way. If he had to choose one to live it would be the kids. I am perfectly fine with that, that is how it should be.

It depends on the person that you're talking about. Love is something that you feel, not control.

Both the same but in two slightly different ways:

wife gets romantic love,

kids get parental love.

you never love your partner the same way that you love your kids...it is two different kinds of love....

you should love both equally but in different ways. the love of a spouse is of frienship, partnership, romantic, etc and the love of a child is unconditional - they are a part of you. Neither should be more important than the other. Your wife is there "til death" so you need to make things work. your child is someone who depends on you and needs you until adulthood. you need to teach them how to be.

Two different things. I have been married twice and divorced twice. I had a daughter with both of my wives and I love them both the same. Although my wives and I didn't work things out and stay together I will always love my girls.

I can't speak for the guys, but I know I love my husband and my kids in totally different ways. I love my husband as a partner, a confidant, a lover, and a best friend. I love my kids in a fiercely protective, nurturing, motherly way. The two aren't really comparable.
