What does a guy mean when he says...?

"I have too much on my mind for a relationship". My friend really likes this guy but when I asked him why he hasn't asked her out yet he answered with this statement. Do you think this is a nice way of saying he doesn't like her or is it just exactly what he said?

honestly, i think this guy really does have too much on his mind for a relationship. Most guys wont make up a reason to not date a girl, especially to her friend, like you. He would be straight up with you and would tell you not to tell her!

Sounds like he's not interested if you ask me. Unless he has a legit reason, like family problems, financial problems, or a recent break up.. but the daily things in our lives shouldn't keep us from having relationships if we really want them
