it makes a nest, just a pile with a bowl shape.

it takes forever for the birth, and they make the cutest faces.

here are a few tips:

do not touch the babies

do not upset the mother

do not mess with the bedding

give the mom more food while shes pregnant

give the mom more food while shes lactating

let the mom do her thing

do not let the babies near the father

leave the mom and her babies in a dark quiet room

do not disturb them often

well i just had hammie babies on july 26... she will make a nest to have them in.. just dont touch the babies and if daddy is in the same cage take him out he will eat the babies.
