  1. Its a collision claim.  You will have to pay the deductible you choose.

  2. If you were the victim then it is a collision claim. (or UMPD - Uninsured Motorist Property Damage depending on your state)

If you were the one who did the hitting and running, then your liability coverage pays for the car you hit.

  3. In most states, it falls under collision.

I think Virginia and Kentucky are one of the few states that would put it under your uninsured motorist coverage.

  4. uninsured driver.. cuz u dont know who the driver is.. unless u caught their registration number.

  5. Your collision coverage, your deductible applies.

If there were injuries and actual contact with another vehicle, your uninsured motorist would be available for loss of wages and pain/suffering.

    It's also a felony.

  6. Most likely your collision policy would cover it. I assume you reported the accident to the police. If so and the person who hit you is found tyour insurance company will sue them or their insurance company if they have one.

  7. A crime

  8. Collision, if you have the coverage.  Minus your deductible amount of course.  You can't collect from someone you can't find.  You can't claim uninsured, because you don't know if they have insurance or not.
