ive been having really bad knee pain in my left knee. Its like on the side of the knee ( inside part). Its very painful and it burns when i run or sometimes walk. If i sit for long periods of time, it also starts to burn. It feels like someones putting a torch to my knee and pulling it with all their strength.

Has anyone had an meniscus tear?

what does it feel like ( detail)

Where on the knee did it hurt??

What positions did the doctor put your leg in to make it hurt??

im just trying to figure out if i have this kind of tear. As much detail is appreciated. Thanks

  1. when mine tore it tore all the way and i felt and heard a very distinctive pop...the pain can vary from mild to severe...depends on your tolerance and on whether it tore or strained

  2. Pain, usually on the inside of your knee

Clicking, a roughness or clicking sensation when moving the knee

Giving way, knee gives way with sport and activity

    - 2 out of 3 and get an MRI scan, day keyhole surgery sorts it out (arthroscopy)

Sounds like a tear to me.
