What does a midplus tennis racket mean?

I was searching for a tennis racket, and I couldn't figure out if there was something special about a midplus racket. I'm playing in highschool and I'm a girl so I was wondering if

Prince O3 White (100)

Prince O3 Hybrid Hornet Mid Plus Tennis Racquet

Prince O3 White Midplus Tennis Racquet

would be better?

Thanks!

  1. basically, midplus is the term used for racquets with headsize less than 110 sq in (no exact definition), while racquets with more are called the oversize. some say, in the past pros played with 85 sq in racquets. nowadays, most pros are using 90-95 sq in racquets. the reason is because midplus racquets give better control, while oversize racquets give more power. regarding your options, why limit to 3 racquets? have you tried them all? some shop allows their customer demo some more. or try tennis-warehouse.com. i would recommend the O3 Speedport Black, but you're the one who can decide which racquet feels the most comfortable for you.

    hope this helps :)

  2. Midplus usually means 94-105 sq. in. rackets.

All of those seem good. Out of those, I only used a Hybrid Hornet. But, it had pretty crappy strings. It is a decent mix of power and control. It felt kind of stiff, though. I recommend trying all three.

BTW Isn't there only one kind of O3 White? Unless you're talking about the O3 Speedport White...
