being a hippie is all about attitude. Its about making your own decisions, and choosing to be your best self. here are my recommendations. Take some time to explore your spiritual side: check out tai chi, try meditation, etc.

Gardening is a good way to embrace hippy culture and values by taking charge of your food destiny.

try writing poetry, or playing the guitar- those were popular 60's pastimes.

make some bell bottoms, and while you're at it, check out knitting and crochet. Dont forget to talk to grandma and grandpa- they lived and had fun during the old hippy days.

They wear a lot of shirts that say like help the enviroment, recycle, & wear other things such as peace sign earrings necklaces, etc.

you all disgust me. first of all you should know what a "hippie" is and what the hippie movement was.

the 60's were an era of free love. hippies were people who celebrated these ideals. many people think that free love means lots of s*x with lots of people. this is not entirely true,free love meant that as a human you have the right, perhaps even the duty, to love and spread love. you could express your love in any way you wanted; by writing poetry, physicaly, by promoting peace, by being close with nature, etc.

classifing a person as a hippie because the smoke pot, wear hemp, or sing peace songs is like choosing the next president based on the way he looks (like harding)
