What does a purple SWEEPSTAKES ribbon mean at a 4H fair?

I spontaneously entered the 4H fair and was shocked to find that I had won a purple sweepstakes ribbon. It has a large purple rosette with two ribbons. All help is appreciated! :)

It could mean that you placed best in show. or even could be a 1-4th place placement ribbon.

I'd say purple is the best of show, even above a blue ribbon.
