What does a "break" mean in a relationship?

I think it means to have and want space to think about everything going on in our lives. If everythingsis adequate and in line within.....

  3. It means someone want to go do someone else with no guilt if they want to get back together.  

  4. Break is seperation for non-married couples. Theres no guarantee of you guys getting back together though, he/she might meet someone in during the break.

    A break means it's over and there's a very slim chance of getting back together.

A 'break' usually means 'the end' of the relationship...because one party or the other wants 'more space'...'time'...'other experiences'...you name it...all good reasons not to spend a lot of time 'waiting' for something that has ended...  Serious 'concerns' about ones relationship is usually 'discussed' and, many times, are subjects of counselling...but, wanting a 'break'...sorry...
