What does a terrarium contain?

we have a terrarium making project, can anyone tell me what should i put on the terrarium, tnx

Terrarium is a garden made inside a glass vessel which has a small mouth.  To develop a terrarium is a skilful job and  needs lot of attention.  Take a big glass vessel, put sand soil in it and a little water. This vessel is without any outlet for excess water to be drained out so one has to be very careful while adding water inside a terrarium.  Then put twigs of green leafy plants inside the vessel with the help of long forks.  Let them root and develop.  By regular practice you can develop a terrarium which looks like a tropical green forests or orchidarium or a desert forest.
