  1. it means that they have the company logo (example:verizon wireless & sprint brand all there phones) where as at&t doesn't have their logo on their phones.

  2. I avnt got a clue....=D

  3. A branded phone carries a providers logo and is locked to take only their SIM cards. My Nokia 6086 is an Orange contract phone and it is branded with the Orange logo; it will only take an Orange SIM.

An unbranded Nokia 6086 will take any SIM card.

  4. branded refers to how a comapay makes a phone there own

vodafone and ornage are worse for this

take a sony ericsson w910i for example

on the bottom there is a sticker that says walkman, but ornage change it to there own little logo.

inside the phone it has a diffrent home screen with short cuts to ornages stuff, the main menu icons are changed to, and they take out flash themes so you cant change the icons

it can make the phones very clow and buggy

on phones with voip ornage take this feature our so people are forced to use there mins

theres also photos locked to the phone such as start up screens and wallpapers, same with vidoes and noises

o2 are the best for not branding there phones,

they dont sim lock there contracts and only put a o2 staret u and shuit down photo which can be changed,

they dont tend to change the walkman sticker ether

vodaphone and ornage also change the boxes to there won design
