  1. Having lived several years in India, I would suggest either you wear cotton or/and , for the evenings, silk if you like to be elegant & comfortable.

Outfits : pants with a tunique or you can buy some shalwar kameez (Indian long blouse with the wide pants + matching shawl) or a choridar (same but with the tight pants).

These outfits are the best ones suited for the warm but still humid climate this time of the year - depending on where you will be going - and ...you won't be bothered by some Indians who may be staring at you (again, depending on where you are going) + you'll feel comfortable. You can buy very cheap ones or more expensive ones. They are also comfortable if you plan to go e.g. on a camel ride or an elephant ride in Jaïpur.

Do not forget to bargain whenever you want to buy something. This is part of the game and they'll respect you for it.

If you have an Indian outfit, you'll already have a dupatta (shawl) otherwise take a sweater or shawl with you to wear in the evenings (some places are cool in the evening/night e.g.in Rajasthan) or while being at an airconditioned hotel or restaurant.

I wish you an unforgettable trip.

  2. usually a woollen top - like a skiwi or something and long trousers to cover.  will be around 10 in the night (closer to 6-7 in the last week).  day temp would be around 20 to 15 degrees.

    AM

  3. The normal tem...would be max 25 C and min 10 C. Approx...not so cold..but take precaution.......

  4. whatever u want its hot there not cold
