  1. It's the length of the race, not the track.

    2m = 2 miles

    1f = 1 furlong = 220 yards = 1/8 mile

    110y = 110 yards = 1/16 mile = 1/2 furlong

    Weight:

    How much weight a horse carries in a race is partly determined by its age and s*x. Two and 3-year-olds carry less weight than older horses, and females carry less weight than males.These reductions or "allowances" are determined by a scale of weights that change depending on the time of year.

  2. m= metre.

    f= furlong.

    y= yards.

  3. The horse's weight is usually not published.  The weight that the horse carries is published.  The weight the horse carries in a race is in pounds in the U.S.

  4. 2 miles, 1 furlong, 110 yards

    m isn't meter.  Horseracing doesn't use the metric system
