What does active issue-yes on a unemployment claim form mean?

I don't mean active issue-pending. I saw a question asked about that

and does it mean the same thing. I do not know, but I dont think so.

Back in 2007 I am eligible for an extension of 13 wks and thats why

I filed. I am unemployed and the monetary form states that I will receive

weekly benefits for 20 wks not 13. I hope I didn't confuse everyone with this question. Thanks for the help

  1. .     I think they want to know if you are currently receiving benefits from another state source.  That would be an "active" issue and would possibly shorten or lower your benefits.

  2. It means you must be actively looking for a job, so the taxpayer does not have to pay for your mistakes. Just because your unenjoyment benefits were extended does not mean you can sit around. Get a job and take responsibility for your actions. Do not take a vacation on the taxpayers dime, which is what most of you unenjoyment people do.

  3. Unfortunately you confused the heck out of me!!
