  1. An aerial habitat would be a living space above the ground, such as in the treetops of a forest, so yes it could have something to do with birds' nests, although some birds build their nests on the ground.


  2. It usually refers to the living of "arboreal" animals, or those that live in the trees.  It is a misnomer, because NO animal, not even birds, "live" in the air, because when they stop flying they HAVE to land, and they can't sleep while flying of course.

    Nests have nothing to do with it.

  3. habitat in Indonesian means animal's environment / nest. All animal including bird, mammal, fish.

    if I'm not wrong, any kind of plantations' environment can also use habitat.

    Habitat meaning is more like place(s) that the certain living thing could live.

    For example: polar bear could only live (habitat) in the north pole.
