Its like a oxymoron. Alcohol is a depressant if your depressed. You are defeating the purpose.

since it does no react the same way to all antidepressant it is safe to assume that it either enhances the effect which could lead to overdose symptoms or it reduces the effect of the drug so that a larger dose would be required to have the desirable effect
