I was wondering what does an automotive engineer do and how well is the pay?

  1. I think he drives a train hauling cars.

       I could be wrong.


  2. hopefully designs fuel efficient cars and/or R&D for alternative fuels.  It would be an exciting time to get into the field.  I say go for it, and if you can help solve the fuel crisis, the money will follow.

    My brothers are petroleum engineers and I've been trying to convince them to change over for years.
