  1. I will answer your questions pertaining to I/O psychologists:

    They often are employed in organizations within the HR department to either conduct research, advise, or do performance evaluation.  They specialize in areas such as employee motivation, work stress, group cohesion, job performance factors (Organizational side) or in areas of selection and assessment (Industrial side).  Alternatively, I/O psychs can work in universities as a professor, and finally, as private consultants (most lucrative - six figures).  To practise in this field, you need at least a Masters or PhD (so 4 yrs undergrad + 2 yrs Masters + 3-5 years PhD).  Good luck with your choice!
