What does an electrician charge roughly for wiring up a NEW oven and cooktop on Gold Coast - Australia?

Ive been quoted some ridiculous prices. I can do it myself (as im sure many people have done) but if something went wrong, it would void the warranty on my new appliances.

I have the old oven and cooktop in place and running. I would think its easy to just disconnect and reconnect to the new appliances.... Installing the new appliances takes all but 20 seconds. I just need it certified for warranty reasons!!

yeah the prices are ridiculous, i wired my own, and saved a fortune. id'e take the risk and do it yourself, as long as the wiring is the same, what can possibly go wrong.???
