What does an emo guy look for in a girl?

Question

What personality traits do they look for?

What clothes?

How should I start a conversation?

Would they date an indie-hippie?

And don't give me anyone of that slit-you-wrist or they-are-g*y stuff. I'm asking an honest question and I would like a real answer.

"Emo" guys look for emotional girls. They want someone who can relate to them and who "gets" them, because in their eyes so few people do. They want someone similar and someone who isn't afraid to show their moody side. Clothes wise, someone with a similar style, or an edgy style. Someone "unique." A good conversation starter would be about music, like a certain band they like. Don't seem ignorant of the band, or they might shrug you off. Also, try to make a conversation about a sterotype of people like "Don't you hate those stupid *insert stereotype here*?" Of course, this is for a generic emo kid. And this should be changed to suit the person.

Probably suicidal tendancies... It's not even a joke! I know/knew quite a few "emos" and this is what turns them on, they wanna get all emotional with you

i think they like cool guitar chicks too! Though indie-hippie might be a little too happy for them.

I think 'emo' guys look for girls who are more down-to-earth and aren't quite concerned with what everybody else thinks about them.  They look for girls who aren't high strung or moody, but rather girls who are chill, yet able to have fun.

I think emo guys and indie hippies are well suited for each other, actually :)
