What does an unbound pages shrink wrapped book look like?

Do you know what the unbound pages shrink wrapped book looks like? I wanna buy a textbook, they offered me that format instead of hard cover to save money. Does anybody ever have or see the unbound pages shrink wrapped book? Tell or explain it to me clearly, please. Thanks.

It would look like a pack of paper with tight plastic wrap  wrapped around it.  A book without any covers.  When you take the plastic wrap off, it would be like opening a pack of copier paper, only there's printing on the pages.  You can three-hole punch the pages and put them in a ring binder, if you wish.
