What does anybody think of toys'r'us ?

Or do you prefer to buy toys elsewhere, please give details.

I always thought they were expensive.  The one near us (30 minutes away) was so trashy all the time we quit going.  It closed.  Now the closest is almost an hour away.  Needless to say I shop elsewhere.

I have usually found them a bit pricey. I don't have one near me, so I tend to get toys from the supermarket or sometimes Woolworths. I do tend to look in Toys R Us for Xmas, but usually if I'm looking for something specific, since the choices where I stay are pretty limited.

When I was a kid we always used to go towards Christmas time and buy a few things. So, it was always really exciting then. I feel it's gone a bit down hill since then. Can't say why though. Probably just because I've grown up and it's lost it's shine.

It's definetely one of or the best place to go for 'toys' and also games. They have everything.

Although, as said already. It's expensive.

TRU never has anything that I want besides they rip you off anyway.I buy my toys at Target or Wal Mart.

Use to love it as a kid. Haven't been for ages though imagine it to be full of screaming kids and mothers with pushchairs. As a shop they've got a better variety than other shops but we have a great local toy store that sells nearly everything apart from bikes so Id go there. Have you tried toy master?

It depends on you. Toys "R" Us is really expensive, but it is really big and conveniant. You can find tons of stuff there. In my family, we only go get toys like once every few months.

If you like video games, DO NOT GO TO TOYS "R" US! GO TO EB GAMES!

I kinda like toys r us cos they are cheap and they stock good products.

although ELC, early learning centre, are good too. they have cute dollies things and musical instruments

Why go to Toys'R'Us when you can find EVERYTHING they carry online or at Wal-mart for MUCH cheaper.  

I go every Christmas looking for stuff for my now 11 year old son....I haven't actually purchased from them in probably 5 or 6 years.

It's a bit pricey, I'd go somewhere a bit cheaper that isn't a chain store.

I only shop there sometimes - When some things are exclusive there, or just because they usually have things weeks before other stores.

Usually depends on price and availability...

If not I usually go to my local Woolworth's - If you go when stuff is just released, they sometimes have half price, or even less!

Argos is good too - Has some exclusives and offers. Plus you get vouchers sometimes for money off/buy one get one free/etc.

ok some of it can be a bit expensive but then on other things its ok

to be honest i prefer to go elsewhere for my kids toys
