what is it for?

Can I delete everything in that folder? or everything in all the folders.

  1. Leave that folder well alone!

    It's where programs store there internal settings. If you deleted that folder (if windows let you) the results would be totally unpredictable, you may/probably break some of your applications.


  2. Temp files for programs. Don't delete them. Download CCleaner to delete them to not s***w up ur computer.

  3. Actually you can't. It is a system folder and windows have hidden for this reason.

    Application Data wtores state information for applications; for example, customizations, config files for an application with   users choices, custom dictionaries or inter Skins, toolbar settings from any application etc.(things in few words that not saved in windows registry.

    So, if you delete anything from there an aplcation may not work corectly for you or for another user.

  4. This folder stores the configuration data of different application. If I were you, I wouln't dare touch the content of this file. Doing so will cause you loosing all the settings, for example of ICQ, Microsoft Office etc.
