I am in CP Chem and have this homework page that says to draw a picture at the atomic level. What does that mean?

  1. It means that if you are to draw a "picture" of sodium chloride at the atomic level, you should show a three-dimensional picture of one Na+ surrounded on all 8 sides by Cl-. Similarly for any Cl-.

    In short, it means that you should show the structure at the level of individual atoms.
