sounds that you can hear. or what that other guy said. like, dog whistles are too high pitched for humans to hear, so i suppose it is not considered an audible sound to humans

It means the wave length is within our human hearing range.

Dogs, for example, can hear higher pitches.  That's why there are dog whistles that we cannot hear at all.
