  1. Wake up- 530 (Shave!!!)

PT-600 (Run one day- Cals one day)

    Breakfast-700

    Training- 800-1200

    Lunch-1200

    Training- 1300- 1700

    Dinner 1700

    Drill Sargent time 1800-?

    Bed- 2100

First week is prosessing. Doesn't count to your nine weeks.

Remember this phrase- HURRY UP AND WAIT

Your first 3 weeks is h**l( lots of yelling, classes, stress)

3-6 weeks a little better( You get to do more outside)

6-9 weeks better( Rifle range, Drill sargents lay off, Excitment comes back)

You'll make it. I did Fort Knox.

  2. briefly   no time to scratch

  3. this was pretty much my day in basic training. how i remember it. my answer might be kind of long. sorry.

    0500-loud *** wake-up on loud speaker

    0515-accountability formation

    0530-PT

    0630-0700-change uniforms blah blah blah

    0700-breakfast

    0730-step off for training

    0800-1200-training of some sort.

    1200-lunch

    1230-start training again

    1700-dinner

1730 or 1800-lectures, smoking's, whatever the drill sgt feels like for the day.

2000- personal hygiene && personal time

    2100-lights out

the first 3 weeks is considered red phase. its alot of yelling and pushing and long *** days. remember MASS PUNISHMENT.

week 3 to 6- blue phase. a little bit easier still some mass punishment but beginning to punish individuals for messing up. alot of ruck marches a few ranges. we started basic rifle marksmanship our 4th week. obstacle course are pretty fun.

weeks 6-9-white phase. drill Sgt will definitely be punishing individuals for messing up unless the platoon as a whole messed up. these weeks its all downhill really. you qualify with your rifle you do combative(so fun) and Bugles (big sticks you hit people with)

honestly i loved basic training i was scared ****-less for the first week but after that i warmed u and made the best out of it. just remember motivation and YES DRILL SGT. you'll do alright. go in with a positive attitude and continue with that attitude the whole 9 weeks. it might be 10 for you now. good luck =]

  4. The following will give you a great idea of what it will be like:

  5. wake up, pt, eat, training, eat, training, eat, drill sergeant time, hygiene time, sleep

Some days you will be in classes, some days and nights in the field, a lot of days at the ranges, and a lot of time cleaning your weapon. You PT 6 days a week before breakfast. Sunday is the only day no training is scheduled, you basically clean the barracks and do laundry most of the day. During drill sergeant time you get mail and learn what you will be doing tomorrow. You just need to work hard and focus on getting through. The fastest way out is to graduate.

  6. True... no time for yourself basically.  And when you've finished at 6 in the afternoon after a heavy day of PT and classes, don't expect to relax, coz you'll have a whole locker to iron, your block (place you live in) to sort out and clean, which means you'll get to bed at midnight only to get up at 6 again.

So really... you'll be pretty busy ALL THE TIME.

  7. you will wake up about 0600 do PT till about 0700 at 0700 eat breakfast.  till about 0800 then begin raining till lunch approximately 1130 then you eat lunch from 1130-1300 then you train again till 1700 eat Dinner and then complete any training that needs to be completed or go do clean up mail call and get some free time.
