What does being trapt in a cell mean in dreams?

there was this box like cell that on each sides of two walls there was bars sealing the cell. sunlight was coming through them. i was with a dozen of people when someone came out of a dark spot of the wall and started to tell everyone to escape through there. so i made sure everyone went through. but when i was climbing the steep wall i noticed a woman calling for help so when i helped her up i lost all my strength and i was alone and a little boys voice kept saying to me "he's coming, he's coming" and i knew it was jesus and i go to church every sunday but for some reason i was extremely scared and woke up aware of everything and i was scared.

can someone please tell me what it means?

I'm sorry but that whole freudian notion of dreams having secret meanings is sort of out-dated. It might mean you are unsure about your religion?

This dream is a representation of what's going on with you spiritually right now. You said that you lost all your strength helping a woman. I think this speaks of you relying on your own strength, rather than Christ's.

"I can do everything through him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13.

The thing is that were are created so capable, aren't we? We live so much of our lives on our own, not even thinking of asking the Lord for help, but he's there to empower us in every part of our lives. So I become a stubborn blockhead and have to be brought to my knees in order to remember to ask him for help daily-- and over everything!

I know you've probably already given your life over to Jesus and asked him to be your personal savior, but how about entrusting the everyday little things to him as well?

Live in his strength!

I have had dreams like that too, I woke up in a cold sweat every time!! Just pray and make sure everything is right with God...That is all a person can do... The time is growing short. It could be a good thing, maybe you were showing people the way...and that is what we as Christians are supposed to do, leed others to Christ!!
