What does biology mean to you?

The assignment is to ask 5 people, of a variety, what biology means to them. If I read something that sounds like a definition right out of a dictionary, I will score you down and definitely not use you as best answer. Just tell me what you think biology is in your own words.

I think that biology is way that we understand ourselves and body systems, i think it helpes us understand the world around us and a way of showing how complex and amazing things can be. I think it shows how things can be so perfect yet with so many flaws.(for example, think of our organs, they all work side by side so perfectly, like food gives us energy which aloows us to pump oxgen trouhtout our system which is taken in by the lungs. Seems so perfect doesnt it? But at the sae time look at the nature of humans, so of us are so evil its scary just to think about it.)
