  1. When someone is bonded there is a guarantee that the work will be completed as per the contract. If the job is not done as per the plan or it's not up to code and another person is hired to fix, the bonding company will pay for this. Then they go after the person who did the subpar work to begin with. Therefore the bonding company really doesn't lose out.
