What does bonding do after you have already gone to 100% on tamagotchi v5? Does it even do anything?

I've already gotten to 100% bonding and I'd like to know if this does anything for my tamagotchi, because I can't tell any difference.

Basically getting to 100 % bonding means that when you press the C Button (third button from the left) twice they will come up to the screen and show you them up close.

The other thing is if you marry a tamagotchi that is from a smart family to another smart char on the dating show then you can make a "special" family next. But only if your bonding is 100%

It also helps decide what character your tama will turn into.

Like a certian char for low bonding, medium bonding and high boning.
