  1. cubic centimeters. it's the displacement of the engine. generally more means faster but I have a 650 single and a 250 two cylinder with roughly the same horsepower.  So it depends too on the setup of the engine

  2. it stands for cubic centimeters. Its the size of the engine. Its actually in your case 600cc but i guess he made it plural and added a s. The higher the cc the larger the engine, not necessarily faster but a bigger engine.

  3. cubic centemeters....

its the size of the engine!

    more ccs more power!

  4. cubic centimeters .. a measure of volume

the total volume of all of the engine cylinders

measured at the full stroke of the piston

It's CC's. Your friend is telling you that his new bike is going to be a 600cc. It's basically the size of the engine. In most cases the bike is bigger and or longer as well. I grew up riding ATV's and dirt bikes. We started off with a Suzuki LT80 and it had 80cc's. It was really small. We then moved to a Honda 125 with 125cc's it was bigger than the 80. After the 125 I got a Honda 300EX which is 300cc's and it was the best. It was fast and so much fun. I was 16 at the time and there would be no way that I could have fit on the 80, it was just too small. Hope this answers your question!

  5. CC's means cubic centimeters. It's in reference to engine displacement.

The more cc's, the more air/fuel mixture the motor has available for combustion.

  6. I had to interject because you never pluralize a word by adding an apostrophe. NEVER! An apostrophe is used to show ownership.

    "CCs" is correct!

    "Atvs" is correct!

    "CEOs" is correct!

And I used is because the phrase acts as a whole, hence singular.
